    Naga Raju
    Naga Raju, aged 3 years, is the youngest of the lot at VR1 HOME. Little Naga Raju was abandoned by his father when he was still in his mother’s womb. Bhavani, his single illiterate mother is an orphan too and had no one to turn to when abandoned pregnant. Every day has been a burden for this poor devastated family. Facing utmost hardships, his mother, older brother and Naga Raju had lost all hope in life.It was then that VR1 adopted the two kids ushering smiles into their despairing lives. Bhavani thanks VR1 with tears in her eyes as she sees tiny Naga Raju prancing around with a ball in his hand…

    5 year old Chandra Sekhar is tiny Naga Raju’s older brother. Abandoned by his father at a tender age and watching his mother struggle to feed him and his younger brother, Chandra Sekhar had become very withdrawn due to these traumatic experiences. Things have begun to change for Chandra at VR1 HOME. The love and affection with which his new family has embraced him have helped him come out of his shell.His mother gratefully thanks VR1 which has ushered smiles into their despairing lives.

    Divya aged 10 comes from a quiet little village Allapuram. Their late father Sudhakar used to rear cattle and do odd jobs to barely make ends meet. However, he soon ran into debts and was much pressured about it. In 2006, her father committed suicide and since then, their mother Naga Laxmi has been trying to support the family and also their aged grandfather. VR1 HOME brought a fresh lease of life into their family taking in both Raj and Divya. Divya states she enjoys taking the lead for the little kids around her!

    When 11 year old Rajeswari first came to VR1 HOME, she was standing in a corner… her big black eyes filled with anxiety and helplessness. Her father was a rickshaw puller by occupation. He was stabbed to death in 2001 by his friend due to conflicts over a sum of Rs 250! Having witnessed this gruesome murder, her mother became very depressed and ill and eventually passed away in 2005. With the death of both parents, Rajeswari and her sister Pooja were exploited by relatives for money. Their tender minds were scarred with these bitter experiences. It was then that VR1 HOME took them in putting an end to their troubles. Ever since, the girls are being molded with love to bring out the best in them.

    Sri Chandu is one of the cutest and naughtiest of all the kids at VR1 HOME. His father is a drunkard and left the family in despair. His mother works in a hospital. Chandu came to VR1HOME in April 2010.The love and affection with which his new family brought him up has made him forget all the hardships he came across in his early life. Days now add delight to this boy. Chandu, now has a beam of smile on his lips all the day which spreads all around the VR1 HOME.

    Kiran, an eight year boy is from low socio economic status family. His father is handicapped. Mother, a corn vendor struggles hard to make living and could not afford schooling for her kid. Lifting up the family from murky depths of despair VR1 adopted kiran. Kiran now enjoys schooling on par with international standards and has keen interest in extracurricular activities. He is now a boy with creative ideas and high energy levels. He cheerfully plays pranks with everyone at VR1 HOME.

    Gayatri, a cute little girl aged 8 years was badly influenced by the divorce of her parents. Her mother toiled hard all alone as a tailor to support her little daughter. Gayatri’s childhood days had dark clouds of sorrow and insecurity all the way masking the hopes of the little girl. VR1 HOME brought a ray of hope into this little girl’s life. This tiny tot is now crafted as a cheerful bubbly girl at VR1 HOME.

    Naveen Sai
    5 years old Naveen Sai came to VR1 home in Jan 2010. This little one went throgh an intolerable childhood. Naveen Sai lost his father when his mother was still pregnant. His mother also passed away when he was 3 months old, leaving Naveen all alone. His grandparents took care of him for a while, but later when his grandfather expired, days turned too painful to cope up with. Putting an end to all these tragedies, VR1 took the little one and bestows immense love and affection upon him.

    P. Manju lost her father when she was 2 years old. Her mother with her little daughter had all reasons for pain and depression. The responsibility of feeding the family was an unbearable weight on his mother’s shoulder. She lost her parents at an early age and was staying along with her kids at her grandmother’s house by doing some odd jobs to make their living.     Shanmukh Sai , a 9 years old boy came to VR1 HOME in Jan 2010. Shanmukh is the elder brother of Kaushik. His father met with an accident and couldn’t afford to support his family. Unable to get by, he sold his tractor which was not of any help for a long time. However, his father ran into debts the boy had nowhere to go and the family lost all hopes. VR1 HOME came as a boon into their lives. VR1 adopted both the kids and is spreading smiles in the family. Both Shanmukh and Kaushuk are very active and happy and jump around all over in joy.
